I was thrilled to have visited Hagley High School and talk to 160 students all preparing for their GCSE's. I guess they were 50:50 girls and boys. The school recognised that the students were a bright bunch, but perhaps were not delivering the best results in their mock exams, that they were clearly capable of. I spent the morning with them, and we talked about what they thought they were capable of, who around them might be restricting their opportunities (without realising it) and what, if they dreamed big, they might want to do with their lives. They loved it and were really fired up at the end. I thoroughly enjoyed being with them and hearing their stories. A Great day!
