Modern Muse Launch Event

Project Patrons

On Thursday 25 November, everywoman launched the Modern Muse project at the Adam Street Private Members Club in London.

The project aims to deliver revolutionary ambitions: to change the landscape for women in business and to present future opportunities for thousands of young women and girls. The long term goals of the project are to reach out and inspire one million young women and girls, and to accelerate the number of women running businesses by 100,000 in the next 10 years.

The project would not have been possible without the faith and vision of the Founding Muses and the Project Patrons. Their inspirational stories have been brought to life by the creative talents of lead photographer Mary McCartney in the Modern Muse book, which was unveiled at the launch event, attended by the Project Patrons, the Founding Muses, their guests and members of the press.

everywoman co-founders Karen Gill MBE and Maxine Benson MBE expressed their gratitude for the involvement and support of those who have helped launch Modern Muse, and made clear their ambitions for the project: “Over the next ten years we plan to assemble a multitude of Muses, thousands, and together help to create a more positive future for the next generation.”
