Samantha Cameron played host to the five finalists of the Daily Mail’s Inspirational Women of the Year Awards, with afternoon tea at Downing Street.
‘They have incredibly inspirational stories to tell and I am full of admiration for what each has achieved,’ Mrs Cameron said. The finalists were among hundreds of remarkable women nominated by Daily Mail readers.
At a glittering awards ceremony in London in association with the Open University and in support of the charity Wellbeing of Women, the judges named Anna Kennedy as the overall winner. Here is her extraordinary story.
